Made from a textured clay that lends iron flecks and tactile nature to these classic cereal bowls. Glazed all over in a warm orange shino glaze that can change depending on where in the kiln the piece is placed in the kiln, flashes of dark red or sometimes white can appear across the surface. Reminiscent of the rusty sandstones found throughout the region.
